Ioannis Armaos is a Vice President at Decarbonization Partners. In this role, Ioannis is focused on investment sourcing, underwriting, execution and portfolio management.

Prior to Decarbonization Partners, Ioannis was a member of the Private Markets Sustainable Investing team, the team responsible for driving BlackRock's firm-wide sustainable investing strategy across the private markets platform. In this role, Ioannis worked primarily with BlackRock's Real Estate and Infrastructure investment teams to integrate sustainability considerations and risk factors, such as climate risk, within their investment processes and asset management activities.

Ioannis earned a BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh in 2016.
