Raluca Florea is a Principle at Decarbonization Partners. In this role, Raluca is focused on investment sourcing, underwriting, execution and portfolio management.

Prior to Decarbonization Partners, Raluca was a Principal at Bregal Energy, a private equity fund investing in the energy transition in North America and Europe as part of a broader strategy platform managing $12 billion AUM. Over close to a decade, Raluca has performed transactions in diverse structures and subsequently worked with portfolio companies to build towards their success across industries, including renewable power and nature-based solutions. While at McKinsey & Co, Raluca focused on the energy and telecommunication industries. She helped clients transition from incumbent technology to solutions advancing service reliability to customers in remote, underserved locations. Part of her work was evaluating the affordability impact on vulnerable customers.

Raluca earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
