Jianrong Liu is a Principal at Decarbonization Partners. In this role, Jianrong is focused on investment sourcing, underwriting, execution and portfolio management.

Jianrong currently serves on the board of MycoWorks (bio and low carbon alternative leather), and as a board observer of Monolith (clean Hydrogen and materials) and DST (Asian electric vehicle logistics platform).

Prior to Decarbonization Partners, Jianrong was an investment professional at Temasek. He has over 10 years of experience evaluating and investing in private equity opportunities across multiple sectors including new energy, testing & inspection, staffing, consumer and technology. China has been a focus market for Jianrong, and he spent considerable time covering the geography, including a 2-year stint in Temasek Shanghai.

Jianrong holds a Bachelor degree in Economics (Summa Cum Laude) from Singapore Management University.
