Michaela Strempfl is a Principal and Global COO of Decarbonization Partners. In this role, Michaela is responsible for delivering BlackRock's operating platform to Decarbonization Partners and providing it with the business infrastructure required to enable scalable growth. Michaela leads on important development and strategic initiatives of the joint venture, such as the Fund's sustainability framework and ongoing governance matters with Decarbonization Partners' joint venture partner, Temasek.

Prior to Decarbonization Partners, Michaela joined BlackRock in 2013 from MGPA where she was a tax and structuring manager for real estate funds and investments. She started her career in the Financial Services tax team in EY where she advised asset management clients on international tax matters.

Michaela is a qualified Chartered Accountant and registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
